殘渣美食

世界上有很多窮人,要到垃圾堆撿拾垃圾來吃。不過,一些富裕人士也為了環保為了減低浪費而食垃圾。在紐約,年輕的研究生Josh Treuhaft開了間食物殘渣餐廳,名Salvage Supperclub。你只需付50美元,就可吃到六道菜的晚餐。此餐廳的食材全部來自附近人家或食店的垃圾箱內之食物殘渣,搜集了回來後,經分類、處理,經天然美食協會廚師創造及烹調,得出佳餚美食。餐廳的位置,處於舊有的垃圾場,稍加整飾,仍具濃厚垃圾場風味,顧客就坐在這垃圾場箱架中吃殘渣美食。

對大多數人來說,這概念有點噁心,不過這是很好的節省食物方法。其實,僧眾托砵求食,在求食物層面上,意義不正相同嗎?
